Siena holds off Marist for 68-65 win

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Jordan Horn had 15 points and Siena held off Marist for a 68-65 victory on Thursday night.

Roman Penn and Khalil Richard added 12 points apiece, and Prince Oduro chipped in 11 for Siena (6-14, 2-5 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Horn, Penn, Richard, and Oduro each made five field goals for 20 of the Saints' 27 baskets.

David Knudsen scored 17 points and Ryan Funk had 13 to lead Marist (4-14, 2-4).

Thomas Huerter Jr. made a 3-pointer to give Siena a 66-58 lead with 2:41 to play. Austin Williams scored five of his nine points to pull Marist to 66-63 with 1:17 remaining. Williams then forced a turnover, but missed the ensuing layup.

Kadeem Smithen made a layup with an assist from Huerter, and the Saints had a five-point lead with 11 seconds to go. Ryan Carmello hit a jumper at the buzzer for the Red Foxes.
