Iowa CB Rugamba suspended for opener

Iowa will open the season against talented Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen without one of its starting cornerbacks. The Hawkeyes suspended Manny Rugamba for a game for a violation of team policy.

Gipson finds end zone in Collegiate Bowl

New Mexico running back Teriyon Gipson notched a 13-yard receiving touchdown during Saturday's NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in Carson, Calif. The senior's catch accounted for the American team's only score in a 27-7 loss.
