Sloan signs deal with Wizards

The Washington Wizards have agreed to sign guard Donald Sloan to a one-year deal, according to The Vertical. The 29-year-old appeared in 61 games with the Brooklyn Nets in 2015-16 and averaged 7.0 points and 4.4 assists.

Washington Wizards, Mystics and Capitals ownership Monumental Sports & Entertainment have hired Grant Paranjape as their new director of esports, the group announced on Monday. Paranjape is formerly the business development lead at esports team Splyce. Monumental Sports & Entertainment currently hold stake in esports organization Team Liquid and will also launch a team for the NBA 2K League in 2018.
