Pop: Never seen an injury like Leonard's before

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich says he has "never" in his career seen any of his players deal with the quadriceps injury that is currently hampering veterans Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker.

Michael C. Wright ESPN Staff Writer

Pop just told me he's "never" throughout his entire coaching career come across the issue that Kawhi Leonard is experiencing with his quad. He said "what's weird" is that Tony Parker has essentially the same issue, "a quad tendon, but worse," but Kawhi isn't any closer to returning than TP, who will be back "very soon" according to Pop.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said the team's 23-point comeback victory -- tied for the largest this season in the NBA -- over the Thunder was due to "an attitude change from 'poor me' to 'screw you'" by the players.
