Princeton hits 16 3s, beats Cal Poly 80-60

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- Myles Stephens had a career-high 16 points and Princeton made a season-high 16 3-pointers in an 80-60 win over Cal Poly on Saturday night.

The Tigers (4-6) had a 35-18 lead at halftime and, after Cal Poly scored the opening four points of the second half, went on a 16-2 run to lead 51-24 before the 16-minute mark. The Mustangs (4-7) got the deficit no closer than the final score.

Devin Cannady added 13 points, Sebastian Much scored 12 and Aaron Young 11 for Princeton. Young made all three of his 3-point attempts, Stephens made both of his and Much was 4 of 6 from the arc. The Tigers were 16 of 24 from 3-point range.

Luke Meikle led Cal Poly with 18 points. Victor Joseph added 13 and Josh Martin scored 11.
