Glotta's perfect shooting leads balanced Bears in win

MOSCOW, Idaho -- Chaz Glotta led a balanced scoring attack with 17 points and was perfect from the field as Northern Colorado took down Idaho 80-63 on Thursday night.

Andre Spight added 13 points and 9 assists for the Bears (14-7, 5-3 Big Sky Conference), while Jonah Radebaugh had 13 points and 8 rebounds. Five of Glotta's six baskets were 3-pointers.

Northern Colorado led wire-to-wire, racing to a 21-9 lead. Idaho did not score its first basket until nearly five minutes into the game.

The Vandals (13-7, 5-3) could not keep up with the 3-point shooting of Northern Colorado. The Bears shot 12 for 27 from behind the line, while Idaho shot just 5 for 20. The Bears also held a 35-25 rebounding advantage over the Vandals, who lead the league in rebounding.

Victor Sanders scored 26 points moved into third place on the Vandals' all-time scoring list with 1609 career points. He was the only Idaho scorer in double figures.
