Prochet has double-double, Niagara beats Siena 84-76

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Marvin Prochet scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the season, Matt Scott added 18 points, and Niagara beat Siena 84-76 on Friday night.

Prochet, a junior, tallied 20-plus points in consecutive games for the first time in his career.

Kahlil Dukes made four 3-pointers and scored 17 points for Niagara (8-8, 1-2 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Prochet made the other three Niagara 3-pointers and was 8 of 14 from the floor. Dominic Robb added 14 points and eight rebounds and the Purple Eagles tied a season-high with seven blocks.

Niagara closed the first half on a 7-1 run to take a 37-31 lead. The Purple Eagles are 6-2 this season when leading at halftime.

Freshman Jordan Horn made five 3-pointers and scored a season-best 29 points on 10-of-13 shooting for Siena (4-12, 0-3). Prince Oduro added a career-high 19 points.
