Barry scores 25, Dartmouth pulls away from Bryant 75-58

HANOVER, N.H. -- Brendan Barry had five 3-pointers and 25 points, both career highs, and Dartmouth pulled away down the stretch to hand Bryant its eighth-straight loss, 75-58 on Friday.

Taylor Johnson added 14 points for the Big Green (4-6), which ended a two-game losing streak and gave coach David McLaughlin his 200th career win. McLaughlin's first 189 victories came at Division II Stonehill.

Dartmouth led 36-24 at the half and was up by 16 with 11:54 to play. The Bulldogs (1-12) went on a 13-2 run with Brandon Carroll scoring six and Taylor McHugh making five straight. A 3-pointer by Tanner Johnson cut the gap to 57-53 with 8:13 left but after a basket at 7:07, Bryant made just one more field goal and a free throw and the Big Green pulled away.

Miles Wright had 13 rebounds and Will Emery had 11, both career highs, as Dartmouth dominated the boards 45-29. It was the first time this season a Dartmouth player had double-figure boards. The Big Green also had 10 3-pointers, the first time with double-figure treys in consecutive games in six years and just the second time in 14.

Carroll had 16 points and Tanner Johnson 15 for Bryant.
