Lille move up to fourth in Ligue 1 after 1-1 draw against Toulouse

Nov 12 (Reuters) - Toulouse forward Thijs Dallinga cancelled out a first-half opener by Lille's Leny Yoro to earn his side a 1-1 away draw in Ligue 1 on Sunday.

In a game of few chances, defender Yoro nodded home for Lille on the half-hour mark before Dallinga levelled after connecting with a free kick, also with a header, in the 65th minute.

Remy Cabella had a golden chance to secure Lille all three points eight minutes from fulltime but the midfielder hit the post from a tight angle after he rounded visiting goalkeeper Guillaume Restes.

Lille moved up to fourth in the standings on 20 points from 12 games, level with fifth-placed Reims. They are four points behind AS Monaco in third and seven adrift of leaders Paris St Germain.

Paulo Fonseca's side previously went three matches without conceding in the league.

French Cup holders Toulouse, who stunned Liverpool 3-2 in the Europa League on Thursday, are 14th with 12 points. (Reporting by Anita Kobylinska in Gdansk; editing by Clare Fallon)
