Did Reynolds & McElhenney really risk Wrexham bankruptcy for promotion?

Gab Marcotti sounds off on a quote from Ryan Reynolds from "Welcome to Wrexham" season two.

Wrexham rallied back after going behind early on to claim a 3-1 away victory over 10-man Morecambe on Saturday.

Morecambe's Gerard Garner opened the scoring on four minutes, slotting home after a mix-up in the Wrexham defence, but the visitors fought back around the half hour mark when James McClean arrived at the edge of the box and fired home.

Morecambe were reduced to 10 men when Max Melbourne picked up a second yellow card, and Wrexham took advantage soon after when Paul Mullin put the side ahead from the penalty spot on 55 minutes.

Steven Fletcher added a third late on with a header to secure all three points for the Welsh side.

Wrexham remain third but move level on points with second-place Stockport County, who have a game in-hand.
