Battling Scunthorpe claim hard-earned point at Posh

Scunthorpe twice came from behind to snatch a precious point in their play-off pursuit with a 2-2 draw at Peterborough.Graham Alexander's men were behind after just 85 seconds as Marcus Maddison steered in a fine shot from 25 yards to end a three-month wait for a League One goal.Only a terrific stop from Matt Gilks prevented the same player from doubling the lead, but the visitors soon grew into the game and Ivan Toney fired them level with a fine 34th minute finish after a precise Josh Morris' pass.Toney was inches away from a second goal just two minutes later as he headed against the bar, but it was Posh who struck again before the break.Junior Morias pounced in the second minute of stoppage time when sweeping home a Joe Ward cut-back.But Scunthorpe hit back again on the hour as loan ace Ryan Yates marked his first start with a leveller, steering in a Conor Townsend cross with the aid of a kiss off the post. And that's how it stayed as both goalkeepers pulled off fine stoppage-time saves. Gilks denied Maddison before Scunthorpe substitute Cam McGeehan was thwarted by Jonathan Bond.
