Etienne Capoue and Jerome Sinclair scored as Watford defeated League Two side Stevenage in a friendly on Thursday.

Watford broke through early in the second half when Capoue cut inside and unleashed a hard shot into the top corner.

Odion Ighalo had two efforts cleared off the line and captain Troy Deeney also saw a shot saved by keeper Chris Day.

But Watford got their second in the game's final minute when Sinclair headed in a cross from Almen Abdi.
