Saturday's meeting in Oxford marks the eighth straight time that the Tigers will visit the Rebels as a ranked team. LSU has headed home with a loss three of the last four times after winning four straight games at Ole Miss.

X factor for LSU down the stretch: WR D.J. Chark

As QB Danny Etling's main target, and with the ability to change field position in a second in the return game, Chark has a chance to be the Tigers' most important utility guy down the stretch.

Has Coach O begun his turnaround?

One win over a ranked team does not make a season or get LSU closer to winning the SEC. But for Ed Orgeron, already embattled in Baton Rouge, the past two weeks have perhaps helped him turn a corner.

SEC Say What: Week 7 recap (1:36)

Chris Low ESPN Senior Staff Writer

It's no secret that Ed Orgeron's first stint as a head coach ended badly. He went 3-21 in SEC play in three seasons at Ole Miss and was fired. He admits now he was in over his head back then as a head coach, but said there's no added motivation for him when he takes his LSU team into Oxford on Saturday to face Ole Miss because he's right where he always wanted to be. "I can honestly tell you that's so far in the past that it's just another game to me because the truth is the whole time I was there I was wishing I were here," Orgeron told ESPN. "I always looked up to this program. I was like ‘Wow,' when I saw LSU, what a great program if I could ever be a part of this program. Now I'm here so it all worked out."
