One of the Vols' signees Wednesday was safety Trevon Flowers, a former baseball player who had previously signed with Kentucky. Flowers hadn't played football since middle school prior to his senior season at Tucker (Ga.) High School. "I think he will be the steal of this class," Pruitt said.

Florida State started signing day early by flipping Georgia running back Anthony Grant from Tennessee. Grant, a three-star running back, had been committed to Tennessee since June, but recently visited the Noles in January and flipped his commitment on signing day.
