Colgate beats Bucknell for 10th straight victory

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Grant Breneman threw for 254 yards and a touchdown, James Holland rushed for two scores and Colgate beat Bucknell 27-3 on Saturday for its 10th straight victory.

Colgate (5-0, 3-0 Patriot League) leads the nation in scoring defense at 4.6 points per game. The Raiders have allowed six points in their last four games, including back-to-back shutouts over Lafayette and William & Mary.

Owen Rockett caught four passes for 132 yards and a score for Colgate. Tyler Castillo made his 10th career interception to move into the top 10 in program history.

Rockett's 86-yard catch-and-run was Colgate's second-longest touchdown pass play in program history. He was left wide open over the middle, caught a short-floated pass and raced down the left sideline untouched.

Holland's 1-yard touchdown run with 8:58 remaining was Colgate's first fourth-quarter points of the season.

Logan Bitikofer was 17-of-37 passing for 164 yards with one interception for Bucknell (1-5, 1-1).
