Monaco restored their three-point lead over Paris Saint-Germain at the top of Ligue 1 with an easy 4-0 win against Nantes.

Teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe scored twice in the first half, either side of a Valere Germain strike as the hosts took a 3-0 lead to the break.

Fabinho added Monaco's fourth goal from the penalty spot in the 59th minute after Koffi Djidji clumsily tripped Thomas Lemar in the area.

Soon after, Mbappe almost had a third, turning Nantes over in their defensive third and breaking in on goal only to see his low drive swatted away by Maxime Dupe. The 18-year-old was substituted shortly after.

PSG had briefly drawn level on points with the principality club on Saturday with a 1-0 victory against Nancy.
