The New Orleans Saints have nine picks in the 2024 NFL draft, owning the No. 14 pick in the first round.

New Orleans, who finished last season with a 9-8 record, has three compensatory selections in Round 5 (Nos. 168, 170 and 175). The team overhauled its offensive staff this offseason, hiring Klint Kubiak to replace longtime coordinator Pete Carmichael. As coach Dennis Allen enters a prove-it year, the team will look to the draft to bolster its roster.

Round 1 will begin April 25 at 8 p.m. ET, while Rounds 2 and 3 are on April 26 starting at 7 p.m. ET. Rounds 4 through 7 begin at noon ET on April 27. The draft will be broadcast on ESPN, ABC, ESPN+ and the ESPN App. There are 257 total picks in the draft.

Top three needs: OT, DE, WR. Allen expressed a troubling outlook on the state of RT Ryan Ramczyk's knee at the NFL's annual league meeting, 2022 first-round pick Trevor Penning is a question mark at LT after being benched last season and fill-in LT Andrus Peat wasn't re-signed. All of that should make selecting an OT a top priority for the Saints this year. It's a big drop-off to their next needs in terms of importance after the Saints signed DE Chase Young to a one-year deal in free agency. -- Katherine Terrell
