          PGA Championship: Justin Thomas chips in birdie on 16th hole

          Louisville native Justin Thomas gave his home crowd the biggest roar of the early wave so far with a chip-in birdie on the 16th hole. After his approach shot ran off the right side of the green, Thomas -- whose short game is one of his strengths -- hit a perfect low, running bump into the front of the green that trickled up and into the center of the cup. The shot brought the two-time PGA champion back to even par for the day.
