Campbell 78, North Florida 74

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Jake Wohlfeil scored six of Campbell's nine points in overtime to lead the Fightin' Camels to a 78-74 win over North Florida on Saturday in an Atlantic Sun Conference game.

North Florida (1-20, 0-9) had a chance to win the game in regulation and end a losing streak that has now reached 18 games, but Germaine Sparkes' shot just before the buzzer was off the mark.

Campbell got a free throw from Oladapo Fagbenle to open the extra session and added to the lead on four consecutive points from Wohlfeil before North Florida scored.

The Ospreys looked anything but a team that has won just once this year in putting together a strong first half that produced a 38-31 lead. But Campbell (9-12, 4-5) used a five-minute stretch midway in the second half where it outscored the Ospreys 13-2 to take a four-point lead.

Campbell also had a chance to win in regulation but Campbell's Junard Hartley missed a jumper with 20 seconds left.

Jonathan Rodriguez came up with his ninth double-double of the season with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Wohlfeil finished with 17.

Chris Timberlake came off the bench for North Florida to score a career best 29 points, hitting on 10-of-15 shots and 6-of-9 free throws. The Ospreys struggled at the free throw line again, hitting just 16 of 30 attempts after missing 20 free throws two nights earlier.
