Glenn 'Kane' Jacobs on his path to becoming mayor, his plans for office and WWE future

Glenn Jacobs was elected as the new mayor of Knox County, Tennessee last week. It may not have made national news, except for the fact that for the better part of three decades, Jacobs made his living as a professional wrestler -- most prolifically as the masked performer Kane in the WWE.

As he looks forward to being sworn in as the new mayor on Sept. 1, Jacobs sat down on Tuesday to talk with Bob Ley on Outside the Lines. He discussed how his pro wrestling career and connections to the likes of Ric Flair, Daniel Bryan and The Undertaker helped open the door to his narrow victory in the Republican primary, and how he plans on leading now that he's been elected.

He also recalled one of his most famous moments inside of a WWE ring, opposite baseball legend Pete Rose.
