Braun Strowman to miss time with arm injuries

WWE

WWE superstar Braun Strowman suffered multiple injuries to his left arm that will reportedly keep him out of action for an extended period of time.

Strowman, whose real name is Adam Scherr, underwent surgery Thursday in Birmingham, Alabama, by orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Dugas.

Dugas, who works for the Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center and has performed surgeries on numerous WWE superstars, including Finn Balor, repaired injuries Strowman suffered to his shoulder and elbow.

On last Monday's edition of Raw in London, Strowman walked to the ring with his left arm in a sling, and after a brief match with Kalisto, Roman Reigns walked to the ring and attacked him multiple times with a steel chair. The segment, which was used to write Strowman off of TV, featured multiple chair shots to Strowman's arm including one in which Strowman's arm was struck while it rested on the steel ring steps.

It is unclear as to whether this in-story attack exacerbated Strowman's existing injuries, as the WWE.com report claims that, among other injuries, Strowman suffered a shattered elbow.
