Now that he's called time on his MMA career, Michael Bisping leaves behind a fine legacy in UFC.

This includes a UFC middleweight championship, being currently tied for most fights and wins in promotion history and has been widely considered as the face of the sport and the promotion in the UK for a decade.

There was never a dull moment with Bisping, and with that being said, here's the top 12 quotes from "The Count." Needless to say Mike was money on the mic on more than one occasion...

On Alan Belcher at the UFC 152 pre-fight press conference:

"Listen, I'll fight Alan Belcher on the way to the car right now, it's no problem. He needs to focus on having a fight with his tattoo artist for that abomination on his arm and leave me alone."

On the possibility of Joseph Benavidez:

"No, it's not possible because you see, the thing is, I hit puberty and then once you hit puberty, you pack on a bit of muscle. Benavidez might encounter that problem one day when he grows up and his balls drop."

On Mark Munoz's fight with Chris Weidman:

"Mark Munoz came bouncing into that fight like he was at a bloody *NSYNC contest, he looked like Alan Belcher's tattoo artist had switched careers and done a bloody thing on the back of his head. Mark Munoz incidentally is one of the nicest guys you could possibly meet, so I think I've lost a friend there."

On Hector Lombard at the UFC 149 guest fighter Q&A:

"You know I bumped into Hector Lombard for the first time yesterday in the elevator and I thought someone was playing a practical joke. I was like, 'who is this little poison dwarf?'. He's about this big. I'm like, 'come on, seriously, this is the guy with all the hype?'. I think he's in the wrong weight class. There's a 125-weight class, I think he should be in that. He obviously wasn't getting enough sleep when he was a kid or his mum was smoking or something because his growth has been majorly stunted."

On Vitor Belfort at the UFC Fight Night Glasgow post-fight press conference:

"If you look at Vitor, when I fought him, he looked like a cross between a power lifting champion and the 'Incredible Hulk'. When he stepped in against Chris Weidman, he looked like an out of shape, middle-aged man, a dad that went to the gym once a week. I would love to smash his face in and shut him up once and for all and get the revenge. I have no respect for that guy whatsoever, I think he's a piece of sh*t is what I think. I'm not sure if I'm getting my message across on how I feel about him."

On Anderson Silva, moments after the ceremonial weigh-ins, in London:

"Everybody here, thank you all for supporting me throughout the years, it means the world to me. When I step into that cage tomorrow, I am doing it on behalf of myself and Great Britain, thank you all. This man is a cheat, this man is a fraud and I will make you pay for your mistakes tomorrow night my friend. All the needles in your a---, all the steroids will not help you, you p---y."

On the sparring match with Luke Rockhold:

"At the end of the day it was a goddamn sparring session OK. You're the guy that's so sensitive about it. I made an off the cuff remark, I was having a laugh. That was a long time ago and now we're going to fight. We'll get to the bottom of it pretty fast and I'll knock that smug look off your face son, believe you me."

On fighting Luke Rockhold for the UFC middleweight championship at UFC 199:

"If people can walk around and you believe the son of God came down to earth 2,000 years ago, and he killed himself for our sins, and he can walk on water, and there's a God up there looking after ourselves, and if you get on your knees and pray to him that things will change, if you can believe that, then you can believe that I can knock the f--- out of Luke Rockhold two weeks from Saturday."

At the UFC 199 pre-fight press conference in response to Luke Rockhold:

"Sounds like the worst self-help book you've ever read, 'conceive, believe, achieve'. Shut the f--- up. Listen, you're talking like you're this dominant champion. You just won the belt, this is your first defence. It's not like you're Anderson Silva - who I just beat by the way."

At the UFC 204 open workouts:

"Can someone please give these guys a microphone and pass it around? They've been here all night and had to put up with Dan Henderson boring you to sleep, Vitor probably spouting about God and Mousasi doesn't say anything God bless him."

On Georges St-Pierre at the UFC 217 kick off press conference:

"Hey Georges, I'll go out on an all-night bender and still beat you pal. I respect you coming back but I know why you picked me. You think I'm an easy fight, just like Anderson did, just like Luke Rockhold did when I knocked him out in the first round. Yeah, f--- Luke Rockhold. Just like everybody does. And time and time again I prove them wrong. So this is the guy, the greatest of all time, didn't want to face Anderson when he was the man, but he comes out of retirement to face me. Yeah, real good fighter."

On Georges St-Pierre coming back after a 4-year layoff at the UFC 217 pre-fight press conference:

"The difference is that he can't take steroids anymore because of USADA. That's the main difference. But I tell you what hasn't changed. He's got the same f---ing suit on as the last press conference. Come on Georges, you've got some money man, buy a new suit. What the f---. You look like a history teacher."
