'The Irish are coming': Fan catches Conor McGregor's attention with ukulele song

MMA

From Phil Lynott to Bono to Sinead O'Connor, the Irish have a rich history of lyrical brilliance when it comes to making music.

Everybody's favorite Irish pugilist, Conor McGregor, was pretty pleased with this musical number from a fan in Kildare, Ireland. McGregor shared the video on his Facebook account and wrote, "What a song hahaha! Thank you so much for the support Mick Konstantin!"

Konstantin takes some of the silver-tongued UFC superstar's one-liners from his news conferences leading up to his megafight against Floyd Mayweather, and plays a song on his ukulele.

"Precision beats power and timing beats speed. Why have you got a school bag, Floyd? You can't even read," Konstantin sings in one memorable verse.

Mayweather opened as a huge favorite against McGregor. They'll square off Aug. 26 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
