Vote: Who made their playoff case in Week 12?

College Football, Ohio State Buckeyes, Wisconsin Badgers, Miami Hurricanes, Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn Tigers, Oklahoma Sooners, Clemson Tigers

The college football world was due for a breather this week, with a handful of top teams such as Alabama Crimson Tide, Clemson Tigers and Auburn Tigers facing warm-up non-conference games before setting up rivalry games next week.

Even without the chaos that ensued a week ago, the College Football Playoff rankings will come out Tuesday after a slate of games that has set up a stellar final week of the regular season.

Which team benefited the most from Week 12?

Undefeated Wisconsin, right now on the outside looking in at No. 5, helped its strength of schedule with a win over No. 24 Michigan Wolverines. The Miami Hurricanes withstood a game Virginia Cavaliers squad and made a case for moving up to No. 2. Add in blowouts by Alabama, Oklahoma, Clemson and Auburn, and it was mostly status quo entering next week's matchups, including the Iron Bowl between Auburn and Alabama that will decide the SEC West.

The CFP rankings might not change much when they come out on Tuesday, but this week is going to end up being the calm before the storm.
