Vote: How do you feel about Thursday Night Football?

Are you ready for Thursday Night Football?

There are a growing number of NFL players who are publicly saying their bodies aren't prepared for the weeknight game.

The Seattle Seahawks beat the Arizona Cardinals 22-16 on Thursday night, but it came at a serious cost. Not only did Seattle lose All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman for the season with a ruptured Achilles, but starting left tackle Duane Brown sprained his ankle in the win too.

Following the game, Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin and some of his teammates had harsh criticisms for the game and how it impacts the players' bodies.

Is Thursday Night Football destination viewing? Do you agree with Doug Baldwin's perspective?

Following the game, Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett compared Thursday Night Football to a boxer fighting twice a week.

"I know you want to give fans what they want, but also you want to protect the players as best as you can, and sometimes I feel like Thursday night football doesn't give them the opportunity to be protected like that," Bennett said.

Last week, Bills offensive lineman Richie Incognito echoed a similar sentiment after Buffalo's 34-21 loss to the New York Jets on Thursday night.

"They suck," he said. "They throw a wrench in our schedule. It's absolutely ridiculous that we have to do this. As physical as this game is, as much work and preparation that goes into this, to force us to play games on four-day weeks, it's completely unfair."
