Vote: What should the Jaguars do at quarterback?

Blake Bortles is on the hot seat.

After another uninspiring performance from Bortles during Thursday night's 12-8 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- going 8-for-13 for 65 yards in four drives that all ended in punts -- Jacksonville Jaguars coach Doug Marrone announced that there's an open competition for the starting quarterback job.

Who should Jacksonville go with as its starter? If Bortles isn't the guy, who should replace him?

Bortles, the No. 3 pick in the 2014 NFL draft, has been the Jaguars' starter since Week 4 of his rookie season. The fourth-year quarterback looked like the future of the franchise after tossing 35 touchdowns in 2015, but inconsistency has plagued him throughout his career.

Over the past three seasons, Bortles has committed the most turnovers (63) and thrown the second-most interceptions (51) in the NFL. In that span, the 25-year-old has won just 11 games as the Jaguars' starter.

Marrone said Thursday night that Bortles and Chad Henne will share first-team reps. Henne, 32, has played only one snap since Week 3 of the 2014 season. Brandon Allen, the Jaguars' third quarterback, went 10-for-15 for 144 yards and a touchdown against the Bucs.

Jacksonville kicks off its season Sept. 10 against the Houston Texans.
