As the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets ready for their season opener against Tennessee on Sept. 4, head coach Paul Johnson continues to prepare his team to make some noise in the ACC. As part of his preparations every year, Johnson awards scholarships to deserving walk-on players.
Entering the 2017 season, Johnson was able to offer four walk-ons -- junior QB Chase Martenson, junior DB Zach Matthews, junior DB Josh Selembo and senior RB Brady Swilling -- a scholarship to reach the team's total of 85.
