Vote: What's your take on the length of baseball games?

MLB

It's not in your head: Baseball games are slower this year than ever before.

At an average of 3 hours, 5 minutes per nine-inning contest, this season's game average is up five minutes from last season and is the longest in baseball history.

ESPN.com's Sam Miller lays out the reasons why. Here's your chance to weigh in on one of baseball's biggest issues.

What should baseball do to speed up the game? Do you even think the games are too long?

When Rob Manfred took over as commissioner in 2015, game length dropped by six minutes from the previous season. However, pace of play has slowed the past two seasons, culminating in this year's record slow length.
