DeAndre Jordan, rapper Wale among those floored by Jon Jones' UFC title

Several professional athletes and even a rapper couldn't contain their excitement following Jon Jones' third-round knockout of Daniel Cormier to reclaim the light heavyweight championship at UFC 214 on Saturday night in Anaheim, California.

Three NBA players, including LA Clippers center DeAndre Jordan, took to Twitter following the rivalry bout that ended when Jones placed a clinical left kick to the head of Cormier.

Rapper Wale likened Jones to a character from the popular Japanese video game "Street Fighter," while New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram also heaped praise upon the 30-year-old New York native after his 10th career knockout.

Fellow NFL running back Ty Montgomery of the Green Bay Packers acknowledged Cormier in defeat.

Jones (23-1) concluded the evening by calling out Brock Lesnar, inviting the former UFC heavyweight champion and WWE star to "meet me in the Octagon."
