In a move that sent waves resonating throughout the sports world on the 4th of July, Kevin Durant announced his intention to join the Western Conference champion Golden State Warriors.
In the coming days and weeks, much will be revealed and discussed about the move, but for now, it's simple:
Did he make the right decision? Should he have stayed in Oklahoma City? Should he have gone elsewhere?
Last season, Durant fell one win short of the Finals after his Oklahoma City Thunder were ousted by his new team despite holding a 3-1 series lead in the Western Conference finals. Those Warriors, of course, went on to lose to the Cavaliers in the Finals despite holding the same 3-1 lead.
