PESCHICI, Italy (AFP) - Spain's Gorka Izagirre kept the hosts waiting for a win at the 100th Giro d'Italia after capturing a thrilling eighth stage victory for his Movistar team on Saturday. "The stage was very hard," admitted Izagirre after the stage. "I took the breakaway. The average speed was very high.
