'This is the biggest fun yet,' says Special Olympics figure skater Sharita Taylor

Sharita Taylor had always admired "Good Morning America" host Robin Roberts. And on Saturday, the Special Olympics figure skater got to tell her that in person. "I love watching your segments," Taylor said.

Sharita and her twin sister, Shaye, were in the ESPN media room in Schladming, Austria, to prepare for a live appearance on "GMA." The interview took place on the rooftop set that overlooks the Planai Stadium, where in just a few hours Sharita would be a part of the Parade of Athletes in the opening ceremony at the Special Olympics World Winter Games (March 18-24).

"My mom is from Ohio," Roberts said.

And almost instantly, the two were fast friends. "I love LeBron James," Sharita said. And Roberts promised to give him a shoutout once live. She was good on that promise.

Here's a quick look at Sharita's morning with Roberts.

First things first: hair and makeup. As Sharita and her sister sat at the impromptu makeup station, Roberts looked on. "I don't wear makeup," Sharita said. "I like natural."

Roberts laughed. "Foundation is our friend," she said in jest. "You both look beautiful."

Once on the rooftop for the "GMA" show, ABC executive producer John Green reminded the twins to have fun. "This is the biggest fun yet," Sharita said. There were plenty of cameras and phones around to get the twins used to a lens focusing on them.

Roberts did, in fact, give LeBron James and the Cavs a shoutout once live -- and with a tweet to back it up after the show. Within a couple of hours, LeBron shouted back: "Love seeing Cleveland represented!! Good luck!! #StriveForGreatness."
