Uganda goalkeeper Isma Watenga has completed a move to Ethiopian side Ethiopia Bunna FC, putting pen to paper on a two-year deal.

The stopper has been a free agent after leaving defending Ugandan champions Vipers SC at the end of the campaign.

He had been linked with a switch to SC Villa, but according to reports in his homeland, has ended up signing on for two years with two-time champions Bunna, also known as Ethiopian Coffee.

The 23-year-old follows in the footsteps of Uganda's No. 1, Denis Onyango, who previously featured for Ethiopian giants Saint George SC before moving to SuperSport United in 2006.

Since moving to Vipers seven years ago, Watenga won two domestic titles and one Uganda Cup victory.
