Bologna have won the race to sign Hungary starlet Adam Nagy.

Nagy, 21, turned heads while starting three of Hungary's four games at Euro 2016, including their round-of-16 defeat to Belgium.

And on Thursday he completed a move from to Serie A's Bologna from Hungarian champions Ferencvaros.

He earned honours as the league's best new player, attracting attention from throughout Europe.

Nagy had been linked to Southampton and Lecicester in the Premier League and Portugal's Benfica, while Marseille had even reportedly agreed to terms for the midfielder before Euro 2016.

But Bologna won out, completing a deal worth €1.5 million which could raise to €1.8m, Ferencvaros said. Bologna did not announce the length of his deal.
