Enyimba, Nigeria's last representatives in continental competition, have been handed a double-header with Rayon Sports of Rwanda in the quarter final of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The People's Elephant, who carry the hopes of the NPFL's continental club ranking on their shoulders, reached the final eight after finishing top of Group C.

They finished fourth in the Nigerian top flight, which was brought to a premature conclusion on Friday, but took 12 points from their six group games.

They'll now have to advance past Rayon, who did themselves credit during a group-stage campaign in which they saw off the challenges of fellow CECAFA representatives Gor Mahia and Young Africans to qualify alongside USM Alger.

The Algerians have been drawn against unbeaten El Masry of Egypt in the quarters, while Raja Casablanca have been pitted against CARA Brazzaville.

In the fourth match, Congolese heavyweights and Group A runners-up AS Vita Club will face Moroccan surprise package Renaissance Berkane.
