Frenkie de Jong to Tottenham

Spurs are reportedly ready to go head-to-head with Barcelona over the signing of Ajax midfielder De Jong. The Sunday Express say that Tottenham are keeping tabs on the 21-year-old who has been scouted extensively by Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund. De Jong is valued at around £40m and Mundo Deportivo claim that Barca are keen to get a deal wrapped up for 2019, before he has a chance to impress in the Champions League and drive his price up.

Paul Pogba to Juventus

Pogba has told Manchester United he wants to return to Juventus and play with Cristiano Ronaldo, claim the Sunday Express. Pogba's declining relationship with United manager Jose Mourinho and the presence of Ronaldo in Turin has led him to seek a move away from Old Trafford and he has reportedly made his intentions known now to give the club time to find a replacement. Pogba also remains a target of Barcelona who made a failed bid for the France international over the summer.

Filipe Luis to Arsenal

The Atletico Madrid left-back may have seen a proposed deadline switch to Paris Saint-Germain evaporate but Arsenal have now emerged as potential suitors. Filipe Luis declared he wanted to leave Atletico and sign for PSG but the French champions instead turned to Juan Bernat from Bayern Munich, who proved significantly cheaper than the £30m Atletico wanted. The Brazilian is out of contract at the end of the season and The Mirror says Arsenal could make a cut-price approach in January.

Amadou Diawara to Tottenham

The Napoli midfielder is being linked with a January move to Spurs, with Corriere dello Sport claiming that the Premier League side tried and failed to sign the 21-year-old in a £36m deal on transfer deadline day. However, the report states that Spurs will revive interest after failing to strengthen the squad in the summer. With uncertainty over Mousa Dembele's future, Mauricio Pochettino may need midfield reinforcements but capturing Diawara may prove difficult as Carlo Ancelotti views the youngster as a key part of the first-team.

Dedryck Boyata to Villarreal

The La Liga side have joined the race for Celtic's wantaway Belgian, according to Marca. Boyata was keen for a move away from the Scottish champions during the summer but he stayed and has since been reintegrated into Brendan Rodgers' first-team. However, the 27-year-old is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with a European club come January.
