U.S. Soccer unveils 2018 national team kits

The U.S. men's national team will be wearing a freshly designed kit for the first time when it takes on Paraguay in Tuesday's friendly.

U.S. Soccer showed off the the new jerseys on Friday with the team preparing for the game in North Carolina.

The women's national team will then wear the same design for its game against Mexico in Florida the following week.

Two versions of the shirt -- light and dark -- were revealed, and both feature vertical stripes and the sloganĀ "One Nation. One Team" on the inside of the necks.

"The kit is so unique; there is nothing out there that looks similar. I love the blue kit, it's so clean and crisp," Christian Pulisic said on U.S. Soccer's website.

U.S. Soccer said the new shirts will be worn by both teams "through initial qualifying stages for their next major international tournaments."
