England captain Dylan Hartley remains sidelined due to concussion

Rugby, Aviva Premiership

Dylan Hartley continues to be sidelined by concussion after the England captain was once again ruled out of club duty for Northampton.

Hartley has not played since taking a knock to the head against Ireland at Twickenham in the final round of the Six Nations last month.

The hooker will sit out another round of Aviva Premiership action after being omitted from Northampton's squad against Leicester on Saturday.

Their opponents in the East Midlands derby have fared better, however, after Ben Youngs was included on the bench.

Youngs underwent surgery for knee ligament damage sustained in the Six Nations opener against Italy and features in a Leicester matchday 23 for the first time since the trip to Rome.

Saracens have opted to rest their England lock Maro Itoje this weekend and the clash with Bath on Sunday has come too early for Billy Vunipola, who continues to be ruled out by a broken arm.
