Wasps centre Kyle Eastmond has been suspended for six weeks after two dangerous tackles during his side's 44-22 victory at Harlequins on Sunday.
Eastmond, 28, appeared before an independent disciplinary panel on Tuesday after he was sent off by referee Wayne Barnes for a challenge on Quins fly-half Marcus Smith during the 17th minute of the Aviva Premiership clash.
In addition to the red card, the Wasps back was also cited by independent citing commissioner Paul Burke for a separate tackle on Ross Chisholm two minutes before he was dismissed.
Eastmond pleaded guilty to both charges and was handed a six-week ban -- three weeks for each charge.
Panel chairman Sean Enright said: "The panel determined that each individual offence merited a mid-range entry point of six weeks. Thereafter the player was entitled to full 50% mitigation on account of his guilty plea, clear record and remorse for both incidents.
"This reduced the sanction on each charge to three weeks. The panel determined that these periods should run consecutively meaning a total ban of six weeks."
Eastmond will be free to play again on April 17.
