Dane Coles returns for All Blacks in second Bledisloe Cup Test

Rugby

Dane Coles returns to make his first Test appearance for the All Blacks since November when they take on Australia in the second Bledisloe Cup match at Forsyth Barr Stadium on Saturday.

The 30-year-old hooker has had to wait since last year's 24-19 win against France in Paris to earn his 50th cap but is back in action after overcoming concussion.

His return sees Codie Taylor put back to the bench in what is the only change from last Saturday's devastating 54-34 victory over the Wallabies.

The All Blacks raced to a record 40-6 lead at halftime in Sydney and Coles' reinstallation into the side will have the hosts hopeful of another strong result in Dunedin.

All Blacks: McKenzie, B Smith, Crotty, S B Williams, R Ioane, B Barrett, A Smith; Read (captain), Cane, Squire, Whitelock, Retallick, Franks, Coles, Moody.

Replacements: Taylor, Hames, Tu'ungafasi, S Barrett, A Savea, Perenara, Sopoaga, Lienert-Brown.
