After starring for Wasps' sevens in their Premiership Rugby Sevens triumph last weekend, Marcus Watson has set his sights firmly on his more illustrious brother, Bath's Anthony Watson, as the Aviva Premiership season nears.

The brothers, both wingers, started their careers at London Irish alongside their other brother, Callum. Since then Anthony went on to represent British & Irish Lions' against New Zealand this summer, while Marcus was a part of the Team GB side that won silver in the Rio Olympics in 2016.

Now, 26-year-old Marcus Watson is looking forward to the possibility of facing his younger brother this season.

"We still haven't properly played against each other yet but hopefully it'll happen this season," said Marcus Watson. "During my first season at Newcastle, he'd just come back from internationals, so he came on for the last few minutes, but it was on the opposite wing, and then last season, I tore my hammy, so I didn't play against him.

"Hopefully, it happens this season. We've spoke about it quite a lot and he's got everything to lose, so I'm in a good position!"

The first opportunity for both to face each other comes Oct. 1 in the Premiership clash at the Ricoh Arena.
