Harlequins have signed former All Blacks centre Francis Saili from Munster Rugby on a long-term contract.

Saili, who has played for New Zealand twice in his career, leaves the Pro12 side after spending two seasons at the club.

The 26-year-old was part of the victorious New Zealand side that won the Under-20s World Championships in 2011 while also having played 42 times for the Blues in Super Rugby.

"I'm looking forward to a new challenge in the Premiership under the direction of the coaches and alongside my new team," Saili told the Harlequins club website.

"Harlequins has a rich heritage and strong tradition and I look forward to being part of an ongoing legacy which the club continues to uphold."

Saili joins fellow new signings Demetri Catrakilis, Renaldo Bothma, Dave Lewis, Phil Swainston, Lewis Boyce and Josh McNulty at the club for the 2017/18 season.
