DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Danica Patrick is looking forward to her final NASCAR race, and yes, he will be there Sunday for the Daytona 500. Patrick, who started dating Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the offseason, said the plan is for her new beau to be at the race at Daytona International Speedway. Patrick is competing in two races in 2018 -- the Daytona 500 and then the Indianapolis 500 in May -- before retiring as a race car driver. "I'm actually just excited that he gets to see what I do," Patrick said Wednesday during Daytona 500 media day. "He'll get to see me in my [driver] suit. I've never seen him in his uniform [to play] in person." That means there will be two famous NFL quarterbacks at the speedway. Peyton Manning will drive the pace car prior to the race. Could Manning and Rodgers throw a few passes to each other, prerace? "I highly doubt it," Patrick said with a laugh. Patrick ended a five-year relationship with driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in November.
