If you're a Cleveland Browns fan, or even if you're not, week three of this still-new NFL season was certainly a memorable one, with Baker Mayfield staging a career-kickstarting comeback. But for the African players in the league, it was all about creating and recovering turnovers, headlined by one of the easier picks for our prestigious weekly award. Player of the Week Efe Obada (Carolina Panthers Defensive End #94) It was the other feel good story of the week, as Nigeria-born, UK-raised Obada finally made an NFL roster after spending the past three seasons on practice squads. Making his regular season debut for any NFL team, Obada displayed the ability, along with the enthusiasm, that has made coaches and teammates fans of his efforts over the years. A sack, two quarterback hits and an interception in the Panthers' 31-21 win over the Cincinnati Bengals led to Obada receiving the game ball from head coach Ron Rivera in the Carolina locker room after the victory. Notable Performances Alvin Kamara (New Orleans Saints Running back #41) On Sunday, Kamara ran for 66 yards on 16 carries while catching 15 passes (on 20 targets) for 124 yards in the Saints' 43-37 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. The second-year star almost had the game-winning touchdown in overtime, but was called down just shy of the goal-line. Kamara's 15 catches put him in a three-way tie for the second-most catches by a running back in a single game in NFL history. The 20 targets by Saints QB Drew Brees to Kamara also set a record as the most to a running back in a single game in NFL history. The 23-year-old Liberian-American has helped the Saints withstand the absence of backfield mate Mark Ingram as he has shown the ability to run between and outside the tackles, as well as catch passes out of the backfield. Patrick Onwuasor (Baltimore Ravens Linebacker #48) 'Peanut' is back in the Africa Zone as Onwuasor played his part in the Ravens' 27-14 victory over the Denver Broncos. Onwuasor had three tackles and a pass breakup to go with a very timely interception.  Prior to the interception, the Broncos were marching towards the end zone and were on the Ravens' 15-yard line with a little over nine minutes left in the game. Onwuasor anticipated the pass from Broncos QB Case Keenum to tight end Jeff Heuerman and snagged the ball. He then took the interception 89 yards back to the Broncos end zone for a pick six -- which was then overturned because of a block in the back by his teammate Matthew Judon on Keenum. Nonetheless, Onwuasor's interception set the Broncos back in their quest to reduce the scoreline and saw the Nigerian-American receive the game ball from head coach John Harbaugh post game. Larry Ogunjobi (Cleveland Browns Defensive Tackle #65) After notching sacks in the first two games of the season, Browns defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi went sackless in week three. Despite this, Ogunjobi had eight tackles and two tackles for a loss in 60 snaps during the Browns' famous 21-17 win over the New York Jets on Thursday night. Ndamukong Suh (Los Angeles Rams Defensive Tackle #93) In a first appearance in the NFL Africa Zone for Ndamukong Suh this season, Suh showed why he is one of the top defensive tackles in the league. On Sunday, the Cameroonian-American had three tackles, one tackle for a loss, one sack, one pass breakup, two quarterback hits and a fumble recovery, as the Rams beat the Chargers 35-23 in the battle of Los Angeles.  Bene Benwikere (Arizona Cardinals Cornerback #23) Former Carolina Panthers draft pick Benwikere is on the comeback trail and has found a home with the Cardinals and coach Steve Wilks (his former defensive coordinator in Carolina). Benwikere saw special teams duty in the first two games but on Sunday he was able to get on the field for 46 percent of the Cardinals defensive snaps. In the time he was on the field (a lot of it on dime defensive packages in which the Cardinals chose to play six defensive backs), Benwikere tallied three tackles, one pass break up, one quarterback hit and half a sack. If only the Cardinals could have held on to their 14-0 lead instead of handing the game to the Bears... Players to Watch in Week 4 Quincy Enunwa (New York Jets #81) vs Jacksonville Jaguars Jets receiver Enunwa was a problem for the Browns defense on third downs in the Jets' loss to the Browns on Thursday. The Jets play Jacksonville's brash but talented secondary this week. Connecting with Enunwa will be vital for the Jets and QB Sam Darnold to get back in the win column.  Romeo Okwara (Detroit Lions #95) vs Dallas Cowboys Former New York Giant Romeo Okwara is coming off a win over the New England Patriots in which he was able to get some pressure on QB Tom Brady. Okwara and the Lions will be facing an unimpressive Cowboys offensive line, and consistent pressure from Okwara will go a long way towards helping the Lions defense stymie Dak Prescott. Jahleel Addae (Los Angeles Chargers #37) vs San Francisco Coming off a loss in the battle for L.A. supremacy, the Chargers will be relieved to face the 49ers sans injured quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. The 49ers still have speedy wide receiver Marquise Goodwin and the surprisingly productive Matt Breida at running back, though, and Addae will have to be tuned in to help the Chargers defense get the W on Sunday.
