PHILADELPHIA -- The battery case against Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham has been closed, Miami-Dade court records show.
Bradham was charged with aggravated assault, a second-degree felony, following an incident at the Hilton Bentley Miami in South Beach, in July of 2016. He was accused of striking a hotel employee and breaking his nose.
Bradham accepted a deferred prosecution program this past July, which offered the possibility of no jail time if the conditions of the program were met. It appears Bradham met those conditions.
The 28-year-old Bradham also faced a misdemeanor gun charge for a separate incident, when he brought a weapon to the Miami airport. That case was closed in October, records show.
Bradham has spent the past two seasons with the Eagles after playing the first four years of his career for the Buffalo Bills. He had 88 tackles, six passes defensed and a sack for the Eagles during the 2017 regular season.
An NFL spokesman said the league is still reviewing the matter.
