Kevin Zeitler agrees to terms with Browns

NFL, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns

Kevin Zeitler has agreed to join the Cleveland Browns, the team announced.

He will sign a five-year, $60 million deal that includes $31.5 million guaranteed, according to ESPN's Dianna Russini and Adam Schefter.

Zeitler is perhaps the top guard available on the free agent market. The 6-4, 315-pounder was one of the Bengals' two first-round picks in 2012, and he played out his final season on his fifth-year option in 2016.

He is the second offensive lineman added by the Browns on Thursday. Center JC Tretter agreed to a three-year, $16.75 million deal with $10 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Caplan.

The Browns also agreed to a five-year, $51 million extension with guard Joel Bitonio, sources told Schefter. The contract includes $23 million guaranteed.

Zeitler was named a Pro Bowl alternate in 2016, despite the Bengals' offensive line struggling as a unit. In his five seasons, Zeitler started every game but one in his 72 appearances.

ESPN's Katherine Terrell contributed to this report.
