Atlanta Falcons 2024 NFL draft picks: Full list by round

NFL Draft, NFL, Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons own eight picks in the 2024 NFL draft, and while they believe they solved their quarterback issue by signing Kirk Cousins, they now have to find some targets.

The Falcons added some receivers in free agency, including Rondale Moore and Darnell Mooney, but they still will be looking for an elite receiver opposite Drake London.

The 2024 NFL draft will take place at Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza in Detroit from April 25 through April 27. Round 1 will begin April 25 at 8 p.m. ET, while Rounds 2 and 3 are on April 26 starting at 7 p.m. ET. Rounds 4 through 7 begin at noon ET on April 27. The draft will be broadcast on ESPN, ABC, ESPN+ and the ESPN App. There are 257 total picks in the draft.

Here's the full list of the Falcons' draft picks by round, along with a look at their top roster needs headed into the 2024 season.

Atlanta Falcons 2024 draft picks

  • Round 1: No. 8 overall

  • Round 2: No. 43

  • Round 3: No. 74

  • Round 3: No. 79 (from Jacksonville)

  • Round 4: No. 109

  • Round 5: No. 143

  • Round 6: No. 187

  • Round 6: No. 197 (from Cleveland)

Top three needs: WR, EDGE, CB. While Atlanta added a lot to its offense -- including quarterback Kirk Cousins and three new receivers -- it hasn't added a clear playmaker opposite No. 1 receiver Drake London. There could be an opportunity to do so with the No. 8 pick or more likely in the second round.

The Falcons largely added depth defensively on the line and at cornerback while their search for high-level pass-rushers continues, along with figuring out the cornerback spot opposite A.J. Terrell. Don't discount the interior of the defensive line, either, where 30-year-old Grady Jarrett is coming off an ACL tear, David Onyemata is 31 and Ta'Quon Graham is in the final year of his rookie contract. -- Michael Rothstein
