We asked, "Which player will be better in 2016-17?" To decide, voters had to consider both the quality and the quantity of each player's contributions to his team's ability to win games.

Insider profile: The gift and the curse for Thompson is that he's perhaps the world's second-best shooter ... but also second in his own backcourt. Last season, Thompson stepped out of his point guard's giant shadow by improving his ability to create his own offense and becoming less dependent on Curry.
