Pistons' Luke Kennard still rehabbing sprained AC joint

Detroit Pistons guard Luke Kennard will continue rehabilitation for another two weeks as he recovers from a sprained AC joint, the team said Tuesday.

Kennard was injured Oct. 25 against the Cleveland Cavaliers when he ran into a screen set by Tristan Thompson.

Rehab will involve a "a gradual intensification towards basketball activity," the Pistons' medical director said in statement.

Kennard is in his second season with the Pistons after being selected 12th overall in the 2017 NBA draft. In 73 games last season (nine starts), he averaged 7.6 points and 2.4 rebounds.

The team did not say when Kennard will play again.
