LOS ANGELES -- Prior to the Clippers' 128-126 overtime victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday afternoon, the two teams wore black T-shirts emblazoned with "Enough" across their chests, and the names of the victims of a mass shooting in nearby Thousand Oaks, California, on their backs. "We believe [gun violence] is something that needs to be brought up and gotten under control," Clippers forward Tobias Harris said. "For our own nation, people have to get more aware of [gun issues]. Personally, my condolences go out to the families, and everyone that lost loved ones, my prayers go out to them. But at the end of the day, action has to be taken from this because there can only be so many prayers and so many condolences." Late Wednesday night, a gunman armed with a Glock 21 .45-caliber handgun opened fire in the Borderline Bar & Grill, a popular country and western club approximately 45 miles northwest of Los Angeles. Twelve people were murdered in the attack. The Clippers were in Portland, Oregon, when they learned of the tragedy. Clippers management took note that the Los Angeles Kings wore decals that read "Enough" on their helmets on the ice at Staples Center on Thursday night. Led by Annemarie Loflin, chief of staff of basketball operations for the Clippers, the team promptly ordered the "Enough" T-shirts ahead of Saturday afternoon's game with Milwaukee. The Clippers invited the Bucks to participate in the commemoration. Both teams wore the shirts, which were approved by the NBA, beneath their warm-up jackets and revealed the shirts during a moment of silence in the dark arena. "Guys like us, we have such a huge platform and such a huge voice," Bucks guard Malcolm Brogdon said. "I think it's important for organizations as a whole show support, show love."
